PREVIEW THE ITINERARY
- Day 1: Welcome to Nairobi. A VIP meet and greet awaits you in Nairobi, one of the most exciting cities in Africa. From there, you will be transferred to your accommodation so you can settle in and ease into the journey. Overall, it is a smooth and comfortable start to your East Africa group trip for young travelers.
- Day 2: Ziplining, Lake Naivasha and Walking Safari. Get ready, because the adventure begins properly today. First, we head to the forest for an exciting ziplining experience. After that, we continue to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride and a stop at an island for an immersive walking safari. As a result, the day delivers both adrenaline and scenery in one go.
- Day 3: Nairobi National Park and Maasai Culture. This morning starts early, but it is worth it. To begin with, you will enjoy breakfast during an early morning game drive at Nairobi National Park. Later on, you will immerse yourself in the rich Maasai culture. So, the day blends wildlife and heritage in a way that feels both exciting and grounding.
- Day 4: Local Market, Cooking and City Time. After breakfast, we will visit a local market to buy ingredients for a cooking class. Then, later on, we will explore a local mall in the city. In this way, the day gives you a more local and lifestyle-focused side of Kenya.
- Day 5: Journey from Kenya to Tanzania. Today, we take a bus to the Republic of Tanzania. Although it is a full-day journey, it is also part of the adventure. By evening, we arrive in Dar es Salaam, ready for the island chapter of this East Africa group trip for young travelers.
- Day 6: Ferry to Zanzibar and Stone Town. After breakfast, we board the morning ferry to the tropical island of Zanzibar. Once you have checked in, we will explore Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Not only is it historic, but it is also full of character, culture, and that unmistakable island atmosphere.
- Day 7: Dolphins, Turtle Conservation and Nungwi Beach. Today, the Indian Ocean calls. First, enjoy the chance to spot dolphins. Afterward, we visit a turtle conservation center before heading to Nungwi Beach. Therefore, the day feels both fun and memorable, with a great mix of wildlife and beach time.
- Day 8: Prison Island, Nakupenda Beach and Return to Mainland. With breakfast to fuel the day, we head out to explore Prison Island and beautiful Nakupenda Beach, one of the best beaches in Africa. Interestingly, “Nakupenda” means “I love you” in Swahili, which somehow makes the experience feel even sweeter. Later on, we take the ferry back to mainland Tanzania.
- Day 9: Journey Back to Kenya. Early today, we begin the day-long journey back to Kenya. Although it is a travel day, it also gives the group time to reflect, recharge, and relive the best moments of the trip so far.
- Day 10: Volunteering and Final Dinner. Today adds heart to the adventure. First, we will spend time volunteering in a charity school serving vulnerable children. Later in the evening, we will enjoy a final dinner together in Kenya. As a result, the day brings both meaning and celebration before the journey ends.
- Day 11: Departure Day. Today, we part ways. However, trips like this rarely end with just goodbye. We may have started this summer safari as strangers, yet East Africa has a way of turning shared moments into real connection. That is why this East Africa group trip for young travelers gives you more than two countries in one trip. Instead, it gives you stories, friendships, and a summer worth talking about.
